Income Taxes |
8. Income Taxes The Company did not record an income tax benefit in its statements of operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2022 and 2021 as it is more likely than not that the Company will not recognize the federal and state deferred tax benefits generated by its losses. The Company has provided a valuation allowance for the full amount of its net deferred tax assets and liabilities as of June 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, as management has determined it is more likely than not that any future benefit from deductible temporary differences and net operating loss and tax credit carryforwards would not be realized. The Company has not recorded any amounts for unrecognized tax benefits as of June 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021. |
